I can not say enough good things about Dr. Jenn! Only after a few sessions, my pelvic floor muscles significantly improved. I can actually jump, run, and play with my kids now without having that annoying trickle of urine (sorry, TMI). Her "Strong As A Mother" classes are a god-send because I can bring my toddler and still get an amazing workout in. Now that I'm expecting baby number three, Dr. Jenn does a wonderful job of modifying the exercises for me so that I can go at my own pace, while still getting in a good workout. For the first time in all of my pregnancies, I feel strong. Going to her sessions is seriously the highlight of my week (besides my beautiful family, of course)! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Jenn!

Kelley reached out to us 3 months postpartum after having her 3rd son looking for guidance and direction in returning back to her exercise regimen. Prior to our sessions, Kelley had been doing some walking with her children getting back into movement, but her ultimate goal was to return to high intensity weight training exercise. In just 10 weeks, Kelley reduced her abdominal separation from 3 finger widths to 1, learned how to effectively engage her pelvic floor and deep inner core to reduce rib flare to move efficiently in her workouts and has returned to running and high intensity weight training. Kelley recently participated in her first 5K race postpartum!

I just finished 10 sessions of the Strong As A Mother class. Jenn was the most amazing trainer. The workouts were intense and core focused. Jenn would offer modifications for us if we needed. I feel a difference in my core already. Jenn is so knowledgeable, especially with postpartum care and exercises. I highly recommend working with Jenn!

It wasn't until I had my first baby that I understood I needed to become a pelvic floor physical therapist in order to rehab my body (and mind)! I had a fit pregnancy and ate relatively well, so I figured I'd have no trouble getting back into my exercises after the birth of my son. I resumed my typical pre-baby workouts the day after my 6-week check-up with my doctor. I disregarded the aches and pains (and leaks) since I assumed they were a typical part of the healing process. Even though it had been a year or more since delivering my son, I was so frustrated because I still couldn’t run and jump the way I wanted to without pelvic floor issues.
Sometimes the most difficult events are exactly what we need to shift our course and heal our bodies, emotions, and minds. And in my case, propel my career into a way I can really help all people to be as fit and active as they desire throughout their lifespan, during pregnancy and beyond! Since then, I've broadened my clinical training to assist women recover from pelvic floor dysfunction, as well as all people (men and women) heal from whatever is preventing them from living their best, most active lives.
This is why I founded Create Your Core: to provide individuals with the attention they deserve.
